By accessing or using TravelAdvisory services, including our website, REST API, and ChatGPT integration, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. TravelAdvisory is operated by Idarity Solutions LLC, a Georgia limited liability company.

TravelAdvisory provides access to official US State Department travel advisory information through various channels including:

• ChatGPT integration via Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• REST API services with free and paid tiers
• Web-based travel advisory lookup tools

IMPORTANT: TravelAdvisory aggregates publicly available information from the US State Department. We do not create or modify travel advisories.

No Warranty: Travel information is provided "as is" without warranty. Always verify current conditions with official government sources before making travel decisions.

Not Travel Advice: TravelAdvisory provides information, not professional travel advice. Consult qualified professionals for travel planning and safety decisions.

TravelAdvisory aggregates data from government and public sources and processes it using artificial intelligence. This processing may introduce inaccuracies.

Data provided through the API and website is for informational purposes only. It should not be the sole basis for travel decisions.

AI-processed data, including risk scores and enriched summaries, is provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy. Always verify information with official government sources.

TravelAdvisory is not a substitute for official State Department travel advisories.

You agree to:

• Use TravelAdvisory only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to circumvent rate limits or access restrictions
• Not reverse engineer or attempt to extract our data processing methods
• Verify all travel information with official sources
• Not redistribute our services without explicit permission

• API access is subject to published rate limits. Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary or permanent access suspension.
• You may not resell raw API data without transformation or added value.
• You may not use API data for discriminatory purposes or to restrict travel based on protected characteristics.
• You may not present API data in a way that implies government endorsement or affiliation.
• You may not use the API to build a service that directly competes with TravelAdvisory without written permission.
• Violation of these terms may result in immediate API access revocation without refund.

The following terms apply to paid API subscriptions:

• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
• Usage limits and rate limits are enforced per tier. Exceeding your monthly request allocation returns a 429 status code until the next billing cycle. No overage charges.
• API keys are confidential. You are responsible for securing your key. Compromised keys should be regenerated immediately.
• Free tier accounts receive 250 lifetime total requests. Free tier requests do not reset.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing or tier limits with 30 days notice to active subscribers.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Our Content: The TravelAdvisory platform, including our website, API design, and software, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Website Data: Data displayed on the TravelAdvisory website is made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). You may share and adapt this data with appropriate credit.

API Data: Data accessed through the TravelAdvisory REST API is licensed under the commercial terms in this agreement. Paid API subscriptions grant a commercial license to use the data in your products and services, subject to the API Acceptable Use Policy above. Free tier API access is for evaluation and non-commercial use only.

Data Source Restrictions: Certain source datasets have licensing terms that restrict commercial redistribution. Freedom House data is available on the TravelAdvisory website for informational purposes but is not included in commercial API responses. For full details, see our Data License page.

Government Data: Travel advisory data from the US State Department and CDC health data are public domain under 17 U.S.C. Section 105. We claim no ownership over this underlying data.

Trademarks: "TravelAdvisory" and related marks are our trademarks. Use without permission is prohibited.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• TravelAdvisory is not liable for travel decisions made based on our information
• We are not responsible for changes in travel conditions after information is provided
• Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services (currently $0 for free tier)
• We disclaim all warranties, express or implied

TravelAdvisory is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee:

• Continuous service availability (99.9% uptime target for paid services)
• Real-time updates (data refresh frequency varies)
• Compatibility with all ChatGPT versions or future OpenAI changes

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

By using TravelAdvisory, you consent to the collection and processing of usage data through Google Analytics, PostHog, and the Facebook Pixel as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. This data may be associated with your visitation information and shared with these third-party analytics providers.

We may suspend or terminate your access to TravelAdvisory for violations of these terms or for any reason with reasonable notice. You may stop using our services at any time.

TravelAdvisory is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the US Government, US State Department, or any government agency. We are an independent service that aggregates publicly available government information.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any legal action arising under these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia. You consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts. TravelAdvisory is operated by Idarity Solutions LLC.

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be announced with 30 days notice via email (for registered users) and website notification.
